Slate Roofing - Slate is very durable and fire resistant. It also presents well and gives your roof a distinct elegance and look. With this nice look comes an expensive cost. It is also heavy and would require extra framing. Lifespan is quite long and can last more than 50 and even up to 100 years. Slate can be seen on colonial, European or French style homes.
